Final Program

The conference will begin with an informal poster session Sunday evening. Invited talks will begin Monday morning. The week will be structured with talks Monday-Friday morning, afternoons will be free and there will be an evening session Monday-Wednesday. Further poster sessions will be held after the evening talks Monday - Wednesday. Thursday afternoon will be the conference outing and banquet.

Conference Excursion and Dinner on Thursday, August 16, 2007

On Thursday, August 16, interested conference participants and their guests will have the opportunity to take an excursion to Yellowstone National Park and enjoy a dinner at a nearby ranch.  The group will depart in buses from the Huntley Lodge at Big Sky at 12:30 pm, after an early lunch.  There will be a guide, provided by Yellowstone Tour and Travel, on each bus who will narrate the drive from Big Sky through West Yellowstone to the geyser basin near Old Faithful in Yellowstone National Park.  The drive will take approximately two hours.  The group will have approximately two and one half hours to wander on the boardwalks near Old Faithful.  The guides will be available to lead small groups of people, if desired.  The buses will depart from the Old Faithful area at about 5:00 pm and then drive back through West Yellowstone to the nearby Parade Rest Guest Ranch, arriving there about 6:00 pm.  Everyone will gather at a picnic area at the ranch for a western-style cookout.  After dinner, a well-known Montana cowboy singer, Bruce Anfinson, will provide entertainment.  The group will leave the ranch around 9:00 pm and return by bus to the Huntley Lodge at about 10:00 pm.

The transportation and dinner costs are provided for conference participants.  For guests who do not register for the conference, the cost of the excursion is $38.00 per person, payable at the conference.
